Beyonce new Roberto Cavalli campaign

Last June 11 Beyoncé was seen wearing a beautiful multi-colored cut-out Roberto Cavalli gown with gold embellishments. Sounds like classic Beyoncé no? What shocked us all was not the beautiful gown but rather the Photoshopped super skinny version of Bey’s voluptuous curves. In the press release for the dress designed exclusively for the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Bey’s curves were erased, and her body was digitally altered making her look scary rail thin. The altered photo caused major criticism against the renowned Italian fashion designer. Fans poured out hatred on Roberto Cavalli’s Facebook page. Later Cavalli tweeted a link to his Facebook page on Wednesday morning saying “the image of the gown created by Roberto Cavalli for Beyoncé is a sketch and not a photo, and therefore it is only meant to be a stylized and artistic vision” the link also added that “Roberto Cavalli loves women and more than anyone else has always exhalted and highlighted the female shape with his creations, building his signature style on the glorification of sensuality and femininity.” This was not the first Beyoncé has been caught up in some fashion related fiasco. Last month it was reported Bey was furious after H&M Photoshopped images of her taken to promote her new swimwear campaign.
